Brr! Drafty windows- how to cut the draft?
I have 3 sets of windows configured like this...very drafty, How to you winterize them? There is nothing in the corner to stick tape to. Thank you
you can cover it with privacy film, contact paper, fabric
You can pay to have it re silvered by a glass and mirror specialist, or choose to cover up.
replace it the backing is mercury and unless it's done professionally it can't be done it's cheaper to replace
You could put a border of some type around the mirror, or paint something like flowers on the bottom to make it look like a garden is growing from the bottom of the mirror to hide it.
The cheapest answer is to replace it. Resilvering is VERY expensive and only worthwhile on an expensive collectible mirror.
Moisture got at the back of the mirror and compromised the sivering. You can use reflective mirror tape and cover the damage. Try an auto parts store, Michael's,or Hobby Lobby.. Some other places you can get it.

Paint it, a nice neat strip of black or even a design of flowers, whatever goes with your room.
I have read somewhere that there is a paint that produces a mirror finish - do some on line research and see what turns up.
