Match stick blinds

I've got a few of these laying around but have no intentions of putting them on the windows. We've got a small back yard with no shade. I was trying to think of ways I could use them to maybe help with the hot sun. I took pictures but unfortunately am clueless how to download them.

If you look at the top of your screen, do you see the button "post"? This will take you to the screen to write your question and post your pics. Or: You post then in the comment section of your post. To the left of the comment button are a camera and a video button. Just press camera and upload from there.

@Tammy Arnold Load your pictures to your computer than on post you should see a symbol to add pictures. Click on that and find the picture you want to add and click on it to add to post. Hope this makes sense.

@Tammy Arnold you could get an inexpensive canopy and secure your shades to the sides - Walmart usually has a 10x10 for a bout 80 dollars and they last a number of years. I used these kinds of shades on the side of mine but I can't find them in Canada anymore.

You could get solar screens for the outside of your windows. You could even make them yourself. Solar screens reduce the amount of sunlight coming thru and keep the glass of your windows much cooler.

You could order shade cloth. Just google "shade cloth". You can look on overstock or Amazon. They make different sizes and shapes too.
