My metal front entry door is splitting on lock side. Any advice?

Just noticed that my front entry door is splitting up the lock side. We rarely use this door to go in and out, that's why I'm just discovering this.. Any advice on a possible repair would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

It will need to be replaced. The steel skins are delaminating from the core. There is no way to repair it.

CONSIDER DECOATIVE BOLTS THAT SCREWS INTO TUBE PUSHED IN DRILLED HOLE FROM OUTSIDE. WASHERS MIGHT SPREAD PRESSURE TO AVOID INDENTATIONS. PERHAPS LONG NARROW STAINLESS METAL
    IF MORE PRESSURE IS REQUIRED.

I have the same issue. I forced some construction adhesive under the metal and then clamped it together and let it dry for a day. This worked and held up for a couple of years.

It was either liquid nails or something similar in a tube like caulking comes in. Good luck :)
