Way to winterproof/ den from adjoining rooms that have 2 open doorways
during winter months, I need to block off two open doorways that go into other rooms from my den where I stay most of the time during the winter. Ideas as what to use to keep warm air in this one room and what would look good to cover two open doorways

Hello. It might depend on your room size and budget.
We have a log cabin that has been remodeled and expanded. The large great room has non insulated roof and only 4” log walls, placing a mini split has solved all our HVAC needs for winter and summer. It as a fabulous solution to our needs for comfortable use of this large room in all seasons.
You could use a tension rod and hang pretty draperies up.
We did just this and it worked, however, we discovered we set up the cold room for dampness and some mold had set in.
I agree with Redcatcec. A curtain rod with heavy drapery or a quilt might work.
You could use 2 inch thick rigid foam, either with or without foil backing. Cut it slightly smaller than the doorway and add weather stripping all around it so it will fit tightly. You can cover it with material of your choice, contact paper, wallpaper, etc. so it looks nice. It will be reusable year after year.
you could hang black out curtains in those doorways they come in a variety of colors and help block out heat and cold and sounds as well
THANK YOU ALL. WILO DO THAT. THANKS AGAIN

You could do the plastic strips like a freezer and decorate them to go with your decor.
You can find curtain panels that are insulated. You could mount a curtain rod at each door and hang that sort of curtain over them.
You could have a decorative quilt over the opening if you don't want to install a door.
