You don't say what size the opening is.
A neighbor did this to a den with an archway from the adjacent space. She put in a set of pretty french doors with obscure glass, so it would look nice from the hallway/adjacent room. You could also use plain french doors with door curtains (rod pockets at top and bottom), or just pretty double doors with nice hardware. That way, the room could be converted back to a den should you or a subsequent homeowner wish to do so.

Similar door as the other bedrooms have. Usually they are hollow core. Either flat or patterned.
Usually you make all the interior doors match, so pick one that looks like your others, so when all the hall doors are closed.... they match.
