What would be a cost Testament to insert a six by six window in a wall

Second floor house, catwalk between first and second floors, window would be on second floor using catwalk for construction purposes. Window does not need to open size could be 6 feet by 6 8 ft x 6 or window combinations.

    The cost of the window that you can find online or in big box store. Then the cost of inserting it from the installer. If you can do it yourself then no labor fees.

    Sounds like you are wanting major construction because a window opening that large will require structural work to transfer the load above the new window to the sides and down to the foundation. There is also the matter of what kind of construction because a brick or stone façade will take a lot more work. Anyone who will give a price quote without seeing the job, as you are asking us to do, will pad the quote to cover all foreseeable contingencies. I would quote $20,000 plus materials for the job and hope that would cover. The only "cost Testament" (cute) that means anything at all is the one given by a contractor willing to do the job.
