It is probably cheaper and easier to buy outdoors stairs, you can paint and decorate how you like. Go to Lowes or Home Depot.

Hello. It might depend upon your decor aesthetic, making wooden stairs and using the porch paint to paint them with stripes or even faux patterened carpeting might be options to consider.
Depends on the materials you use to make them but you can always add interest with paint, perhaps do a multi-color.
