How do I make my front stairs look attractive?
How do I make under my front stairs look attractive? Under the front door landing is bark and 2 clad walls, the wall straight ahead holds the hose and electricity meter so clear access is required for it to be read. The left wall is plain and both walls are painted in the housebase colour (dark brown). Under the actual stairs is a couple of plants/shrubs (on the path edge) which grow out over the path (path alongside stairs) out to the sun (of course). Behind these plants is clay. There is a small garden on the other side of the path and large trees. Sorry, no pics. I have several pallets which is a possibility. A wall garden is not great as I would forget to water it (sad face). Thanks

How about a picture?
I'm having a hard time picturing this despite your thorough description- I know you said no picture but if you had one I think we could help you so much better :-) but without a pic one thing that comes to mind is a decorative wreath. They never fail to easily provide attractive decor in a space. Or, maybe an old window or mirror? You can find them in many different styles. Here's a good article with more info about decorating with old windows https://blog.gardenloversclub.com/gardens/gardening-using-old-windows/
What about some lattice? You could make an opening for a gate so it is still accessible.
You can add lattice to part of the area that will make it still accessible. Then you can hang decor based on the season.
