Susan S on Sep 07, 2012Now cumin and chili powder or cayenne pepper is a new twist (at least to me). Must be part of that Louisana culture - LOL. I'll have to remember that the next time I fix sweet potatoes - which in reality are probably Yams in this part of the country!! Well enjoy yours, it sounds like you'll probably have enough to see you thru Thanksgiving!!
Z on Sep 08, 2012We bought frozen sweet potato fries before that were very spicy. I don't care for overly spicy food so I didn't personally care for them, but my hubby liked them. Next time I get some of the plain ones I'm going to try the way I make other frozen potatoes. I microwave them just enough to thaw them, then fry them in real butter on the cooktop. Nice and crisp on the outside and soft and yummy on the inside.
