There are Two Sides to Every Door, Use Them!

If you're short on storage, don't cramp your space (or your style) with bulky shelves. Instead, look to your doors! That's unused real estate, friend, and it's time to put it to work. Bedroom doors, closet doors, French doors, cupboards, bathroom cabinets... need we go on?
Here are a few of our favorite items to hang on closed doors:Store spices. So, you tried a few new Food Network recipes, and next thing you knew your spice inventory doubled. Sound familiar? Where are you supposed to store your influx of spice bottles? The back of your cabinet door! Grab a few racks at a container store and load 'em up with spices. Tip: To make life easier, organize your spices alphabetically or by most-used.More awesome ideas: https://brightnest.com/posts/there-are-two-sides-to-every-door-use-them

I completely agree. In our last home I used the clear pocket over the door shoe storage for everything but shoes! I also had a coated wire over the door shelf in the pantry for spices and other small items. It's not only a wise use of space, but makes it easier to find those little items.
