I redid the cabinets and counter tops. Now i am stenciling tiles on the backsplash, and i am concern about cleanups. So seal or not seal, the stenciling.

I would definitely seal. Backsplash takes a lot of abuse, you wouldn't want to scrub off your hard work. Sounds lovely. Post a snap when it's done!

i have done this many times without sealing. I used acrylic paints. If I saw a spatter I immediately wiped it up. It wouldn’t hurt to seal it but would think it might be more difficult to repaint over.

it depends on the paint. if it has a durble/wipable/glossy finish, you probably do not need to seal. sealing will never hurt, though

Hi, I would definitely seal all your hard work. Kitchens can be messy places and all the grease and steam will damage your stenciled backsplash
