How do I choose colors for my kitchen backsplash?

My countertops which I love are blue, black, white and gray. What colors should I use to accent them?

Depending on if you want to go with a darker or lighter color scheme, but I would say either a light gray or navy blue.

We are re doing the whole kitchen and I will be looking into back painted glass. Love the look and easier to clean
Orange or yellow or a bold shade of green. Add some color for dark days or when you're half asleep in the mornings!
My first choice is black. Black appliances, wrought iron, black wicker, etc. If black is too modern for you, opt for silver/aluminum/chrome. The silver will pick up the blue nicely whether it's navy, aqua, or sky blue. Silver/stainless steel appliances will work well. The way I do it - I don't buy everything new at one time (can't afford it) just buy the proper color as you replace items. Do dishcloths and kitchen towels. Do mats and rugs.
