Tile Quick Fix
Floor tiles? Cut out grout with a blade designed for masonry. Break the tile and pry out the pieces. Clean the floor, add thin set to the new tiles, then re-grout the gaps the next day.

You use a chisel to break the grout around the broken tiles and chip out the tiles, and to remove the excess mastic on the floor so you can put new tiles, mastic and grout to replace. A masons chisel is best as it has a collar to prevent hand getting cut, and its strong steel.
