Yes just make sure u have some extra glue handy
Yes, just make sure your standing tile is really clean (i.e. Alcohol) and, have some extra glue handy. The existing tile mural of wine bottles above the stove and 3 other 6X6 murals didn't make me happy. I covered the big mural and 3 smaller mural areas with peel and stick white mother of pearl. I didn't like the remaining raw edges so I used cut bamboo skewers as edging. The bamboo color blends with oak cabinets also and really gives a finished edge. I found I could cut and edge sand peel and stick tiles where necessary. Just take your time. Best to you, Rosie
Linda, that's the way I felt. Guess I just decided what's the worst that I could do. I bet you have pretty good taste too. My hubby offered no encouragement either. He said I was ruining the house. Decided I could just return it as it was. I didn't feel better until a neighbor said my work looked good. Trusting myself was hard to learn even at 70. Maybe that's the lesson, WHAT'S THE WORST AND, CAN IT RETURN TO WHAT IT WAS?
Trust yourself.
Best, Rosie
Hi Linda, yes you can hJope this helps you.
Wash the surface and grout lines with a powerful grease remover and wait for it to dry. Measure and mark the self-adhesive backsplash tile. If necessary, cut the peel and stick tiles using a cutter or sharp scissors. Now align and stick the Smart Tiles at your own pace.
