For several years I had a small craft business transforming clothing into wall art selling some items on Etsy FashionArtCreations but mostly sold locally. I was able to have my items on display in my real business a traditional storefront travel agency.

In March everything changed when the word Covid-19/ Corona Virus appeared in every segment of our lives and devastated my 40 year old business with total travel shutdowns. After several months it was obvious that travel would be affected for many more months, thru the end of 2020 into 2021 and beyond.

Decision was made to transition my business from store front to home-based agency and begin working from home permanently, ultimate social distancing.

Changing table used as crafting table until another necessary change was necessary.

My craft space now needed a transformation into office space. The craft table was moved into the garage with the platform surface folded up so it took up less garage space. It was listed on CL but had no takers, several said "it was too tall". As the office began filling the abandoned space I realized the craft table had potential and another transformation began.

The existing table had the top surface and four drawers. Putting the printers on top made them higher than was comfortable to use so changes began.

Husband has resized it now only 3 shelves, his work is done

The existing table had the top surface and four drawers. Having the printers on top made them higher than was comfortable to use so changes began. My handy husband cut the bottom drawer off lowering it about 9 inches and stabilized the base. He then removed the remaining 3 drawers. He filled empty spaces with plywood making shelves instead.

After a quick rubdown with "no sand" and some paint we moved it inside

Paint is always the cheapest option for an instant change!

It looks like a totally different piece of furniture. I think this is going to WORK.

We began to dress her up.

Loaded the items in and on and voila, DONE

Brochures are stored out of sight, the open shelf for daily used items and the top for the needed printers.

Home office ready to work

I don't think I could have found/bought anything that would have worked better.

And life continues.........
