Use it to hold craft items, repair items, etc.. Open and use to display things. Enough compartments for jewellery?
If it is small you can use it as an accessory with other decorations like artificial plants and such. Here is a post I wrote using an old vintage scale to decorate with. I use my vintage sewing boxes for keeping ribbon, small tools etc. One is just for scissors. Another just ho!d's vintage sewing items I have collected.
