Pretty suncatchers, use fishing line to hang up. Fine motor fun for preschoolers, sorting or collage projects. decorate a sunny window by hanging several.
My sister-in-law was given lamps that have 2 dozen long thin crystals around the top of the bases. She thought it made them look "junky". Knowing I love to make jewelry and anything that can be beaded, she offered them to me. Sure I'll take your junkie "real, shinny, beautiful crystals", thank you very much!!!! Anyway.....just last night I made pretty beaded shade pulls for my mother-in-law's new roller shades. I'm not sure how I'll connect them to the shades, but I'll figure something out! Good luck!
Consider attaching them to small chandeliers in your home. Or upcycling a plain light. Using jump rings and slimpins work wonders. Do not get rid of them. Unless of course you want to send them to me.
Also, use to dress up a cake plate for a centerpiece.
Beautiful!
1. They work well on a Victorian inspired/themed Christmas Tree.
2. If you have a table runner w/ V-Shaped ends, you can hang them there.
3. Hang from a nice hook or nice piece of yarn and hang on lamp switch.
4. ANYWHERE you want to hang them for a little added bling around your home.
I had the same thing with extra crystals and what i did was bought some colored crystal octagons from cristalier.com and made some sun catchers with them. My kids absolutely loved the project.
Use on ceiling fans as pulls to turn on lights and fans.
Ceiling fans have chains that you pull to turn on lights and blades. They have a knob or something you pull to turn them on and off. Replace the part that is there with a crystal.
Antiic stores, good will, and small towns shops.
My mom had hundreds of these glass heavy teardrop shapes. I hung them outside on my solar lights. They were spaced in between the globe light bulbs. I added several to my outdoor metal bed bath edge. I love when the lights or sun hits the crystal teardrops.
