I just removed my 11 year old shower doors that don't work very well. I was hoping to use them in a recycling project. What can you do with old shower doors?

I used an old cabinet of my mother's in the basement playroom to store entertaining equipment: paper plates, napkins, cups. etc. Moved it to my son's BR now that he has moved into his own home and store 'stuff' I rarely use and will give away when I downsize. If the wood is in good condition, why paint it. Wash it with Murphy's Oil Soap and apply a coat of Old English polish. Bet it will look good.
I keep china in the top of mine and more china in the bottom.
Paint it, antique it, or refinish by sanding, stain and poly. Choice is great! Use your imagination, look through internet examples of similar furniture for inspiration.
Try using chalk paint for the easiest and 'best' redo. Anne Sloane is a brand you could depend on. Also, there are numerous videos showing the before and after as well as reuses. Just type in the name "Anne Sloane" or "Chalk painting" into your search bar and you will be taken to the sites.
