They're beautiful! I'd post a link but prefer to use imagination instead...I'm picturing something French? Or romantic? Maybe tie a beautiful cascading ribbon at the hanger where the hook meets the wood and then use small wooden clips to attach some vintage Valentines?

I had a bunch of old mostly wooden hangers, I have an unfinished area in basement for a laundry area- I decided that it was way too depressing so I figured out a way to improve it! So far I've painted the walls, I hung the old hangers on the exposed beams. I also added some old yardsticks... I'm really pleased in the improvement in the laundry area... It pleases me to go downstairs, now... And essentially it was free...

Make super hangers. Remove wire pant holders. Save those for another project. First paint hanger a bold color(s). Use Rustoleum spray paint. Add small cup hooks to wood face. Hang on wall or peg/pole. I added a small wire shelf secured with picture wire and screws. Made cute place for spices and cups. Gave away mine as gift.

Sell them! You need to use wood hangers for leather coats. Some people would PAY for a hanger nice enough for their good clothes!

Reusing industrial items in new ways is so in right now as we all know. I think they would make beautiful photo holders for either color or b&w family photos. Think of hanging five or them in a square shape with one in the middle for contrast. Simply attach your photos and you have instant art! They could hold two smaller photos or one large one, whatever you prefer. And if you want a pop of color, paint the wood part to match your decor but leave the metal as it's already awesome.

I knit colorful covers for them, then use these great "padded" hangers for clothing items that need a delicate hanger, instead of being stored in drawers.

The crafty part of me would add $1 frame to the wire area in the center and put a picture of my children/grandchildren in that area and the pictures that they draw or have drawn on the clips.

They're really great for what their intended us is: hanging slacks or skirts underneath a jacket or suit coat. That saves room in your closet because two items are taking up the space of one. I would LOVE to have these for our closet.

I love the shape. Wish mine looked like that. It was the first thing I noticed when I saw the picture. If I had them I would make them look like they are dressed in gowns-corseted-with the bottom hanging below the bar where pants would hang. I wouldn't make them the size of a grown women, but possibly a 2 year old. When I say corseted, while making a corset for it would be a neat idea, just making the fabric on the top very tight fitted would be enough. You could find fabrics in a second hand store or garage sales that would make up into gown bodices and skirts. I bet you know someone, if not you! Who would love having something like that hung in a room. Go for it. Use feathers, glitter, old jewelry,. Make it as wild or classic as you like. But have fun doing it.
