Hi Gail, yes you can. I would use E6000 and weigh the keys down while the glue sets.
Yes, use E6000.
Hello. E 6000 would be recommend.
https://www.amazon.com/E6000-237032-Craft-Adhesive-Clear/dp/B004BPHQWU
perhaps checking out reviews and Q&A will help you decide if it might be suitable for your needs.
I use hot glue for just about everything and it holds well plus it normally can be pried off without leaving marks if I want to change things.
I, too, suggest E6000. The "key" :) is to place a small amount on each piece you're gluing, waiting a couple of minutes and then joining the two objects together. Weight the keys down while allowing to dry. The longer the better.
You can glue, sure. You could try a hot glue or a craft glue. Be sure to read the label and make sure wood and metal are included.
If there is going to be weighted articles hung from the keys, then use E6000.
For lighter weighted items, use craft glue or hot glue.
Keep some weight on the bonding glue for a more secure job.
E6000, hot glue, gel super glue. two part epoxy
E 6000 in clear, Loctite adhesive in a caulking tube or Tite bond takes longer to set but will work.
I would use Gorilla Glue or a good construction adhesive.
I agree with E6000! Most craft and hardware stores sell it or try Amazon.
Nothing holds like a two part epoxy.
I would try wood glue first https://amzn.to/3nlvUJx
Hi Gail, hope this helps you out, Try using a polyurethane-based adhesive like Gorilla Glue or Gorilla Wood Glue is ideal for gluing metal to wood. Wood can be a tricky surface to glue to metal because the two are so different in density and porosity. However, the strength and flexibility of polyurethane-based glues are more than up for the challenge.
Agree with using E6000
thank you ladies :)
