Sure! I had a fireplace brick patio that was just laid on a level piece of ground. It came with our house that way. There was some difficulty with algae or moss growing on it (that I loved) but my husband pulled it up and poured a concrete slab to set the brick on. No more green stuff and perfectly level. The brick has been there at least 30 years, still good!
: )
Sure, it's done all the time.
I don't see why not, here are a couple of links of people who did a diy patio using old bricks. It does look like some work though:

Hi Cruhella, Here's a good how to video. She even has a 6 year update. No weeds or grass after 6 years! https://www.youtube.com/watch?annotation_id=annotation_3964437439&feature=iv&src_vid=Km8rXOsro20&v=nQwNAQRN_dQ
Just make sure you clean your bricks first!
Have fun!
Yes, you can do that, I have old bricks that are in good condition and am ready to give them a new role in life.
Certainly! Depending on how the bricks look, you may want to scrape them to rid rid of mortar if there is any left on them.
Hello, hope this helps you out. Yes, you can use them for a patio! Here's a great step by step instruction.

Yes bricks in good condition can be reused. You can use for your patio or even a border.
