How to dispose of old encyclopedias?
Put the Candle Jars in a Cake Pan with 1-2" water in bottom and put them in a 350 oven for 15 minutes. Take out and pour out old wax and re use the jars.
You can put them in the freezer for a few hours and then the wax can pop out so that you can reuse the jars for something else!
I have used the freezer, too, then lay a towel on the counter and turn the jar upside down. Tap on the towel until the wax falls out
Freeze jars, to get the wax out, and use jars for other things. Make great vases. Chalk paint them, distress or whatever you like. Can also put stick on gems, little shells, or whatever fits your decor. They are great to use for real or succellent plants!
Just have fun, experementing with them. Can even be spray painted, etc.
