We did this many years ago to an antique china cabinet. I have no idea what your needs are so I would recommend just googling "china cabinet to tv stand" and you should get lots of results you can peruse at your leisure. However, I would highly recommend that you do not cut holes in the back panel for cords, etc., because you never know when you might want to use it as a china cabinet again, or you may wish to sell it. We made the mistake of pretty much ruining the original back panel and it was difficult to replace with exact same color stain, etc. And, of course, I decided I did want it as a china cabinet again! So, make a new back using the old back (that you carefully removed) as a template. You can do any cutting to the new back but you will still have the old back to replace it if ever necessary. This would be especially important if it is a vintage or antique piece. Good luck with your project!
we pitched the top part and I sanded and painted this bottom half and for top I used a wood training tool! We love it
