Paint them and tape patterns on them, then poke holes leaving spaces between the holes. You can put flameless tea lite candles in the nonmetal containers or all of them. I think they would make nice lanterns, and you could even make sets or scenes of 3. You can freeze water in the coffee cans then use a nail and hammer to poke holes, and the others may require that too.

Take the plastic wrapping from the creamer containers. I am assuming they have a red cap. Put a red ribbon or yarn around the neck. Glue some black buttons down the front. Then fill with hot cocoa mix and mini marshmallowsfor a hot cocoa theme or fill with different nuts or anything the recipientwould enjoy. A set of three in a basketor arranged in a brightly wrapped open box would make a nice gift. Post pictures if you can.

If you can find room to store, most can be used to start seedlings for the garden, or for mini-cloches to protect newly set-out seedlings. Paint the cans with chalk paint and add a plant as a gift. Or if you have the lid, fill with cookies. Fill a Pringles can with cookies & wrap like a Christmas popper.
