Do you have any ideas on recycling large sturdy cardboard boxes?

If you are on Nextdoor.com, or similar neighborhood network, you can offer to people that are moving.

I save some to break down and use for messy projects. When done toss in recycle bin.

You can break down and place in recycle bin.

Break down to use in the garden to smother weeds.

Make children's play furniture, stove, sink, etc.

Post them on Craigslist or similar site. They'll be gone in a day or two.

Have you thought about covering them with contact paper and using them for storage

Hi Archerwinsome, If I had a large sturdy box, I would wrap it in rope, attach a fabric lining, and use it in our living room to hold blankets and throws during the winter.

How large are they??
