line it w. Anti-tarnish cloth
I've bought anti-tarnish cloth at Jo-Anns Fabric store. Silver makes me crazy. You can even wrap a bracelet etc. with cloth, after cleaning, and stick it in a small plastic bag that you squeeze the air out.
Hello Ann; Is the silverware box lined? If so, I would try and see if my jewelry began to turn, before I purchased an anti-tarnish cloth.
I hope that this helps you!!! Take Care!
It's not necessary but probably good idea,or you could make pouches out of the fabric to keep your silver jewelry in.
The tarnish silver gets is actually oxidation and can be caused by just the air. There may be a chance that the box already has anti tarnish and if it seals well, it will keep your silver jewelry clean already. Did the silver in the box stay clean?
I would get a bit of the cloth and make small bags to put them in and roll them up to keep the air out and still put them in the box for safe keeping.
I hope that it works out for you, Ann!!
