I have a lot of empty cardboard tubes. What is the best way to store them?

cut them into the size of napkin rings. you can make them different sizes. cover and glue on material. cut material into strips for easy application. add decorations, tassels, whatever strikes your fancy.
Foux quilling, or slit one side and put over the wire hanger to keep the crease out of dress pants.
Stuff with dryer lint and use as a fire starter.
When I was a kid, my Mother used to use them in making fake logs. She used them for like the stump cut off branches, on the log, and used plaster to make the bark. She was way ahead of her time as far as making crafts. I miss her dearly.. I hope this helps.
