Has anyone come up with an idea for Crystal Light plastic containers?

They are great for holding saved, dried flower and vegetable seeds from the garden each year, also wonderful containers for a child's room to hold pencils, pens, and for crafts to hold beads, jewelry findings, etc. I've even used them at large picnics to hold a few cut flowers-covering them with a piece of contact paper or leftover wallpaper for style.

You could use them for storing craft supplies, dehydrated herbs, kitchen supplies such as small boxed items to keep our moisture or bugs, sewing supplies, spices, dehydrated chives, dehydrated onions, home made jerky, or any small items for organization. Use them to sell such items in a yard sale too.

I find them good storage for a longer tall artist paint brushes.

We used these for end of year (or Christmas) teacher gifts. Went to BJ's Wholesale and picked up pack of Sharpies and Expo Markers. Printed up labels that said "Thanks for making me EXPOnetially more of Sharpie!" and another label with the To/From for each teacher and the child's name. Ten teacher gifts under $50 and they all loved it!

Patio LED lighting ... since you have dozens. I screw the TOPS of the containers onto a wood base cut to circle or flower shape. Stuff the long body full of LED twinkle lights making sure the on/off switch is at the open end. Invert the container, clip down onto the lid. When activated you have a patio light that cannot be blown off the table or tipped over. (Sometimes I vary the colors, sometimes just white lights inside.)

I use these when I make small batches of soap. They do not get reused after though because the bottom gets cut off after curing to "push" the soap out for cutting into nice oval bars.

I have two boys & used Crystal Light containers like that with their name on them that to hold their iPod Nano and a set of earbuds each. Then when we road trip or go anywhere with a backpack, etc. they have a safe place to keep them.

I use them in my art studio to organize my markers and pens.

Oh yes you have a lot of answers I use them for pencils on my desk. a suitcase with kids art supplies. Has all kinds of containers in it that are just right.

Use them as junk drawer organizers (laying flat in the drawer).

Here's a really different idea: flower bed border! Cut parallel holes in each side of the tubes, large enough for a small rope or wire to feed through. Stand the tubes next to each other until you get the length border you want then feed the cord/wire through all of them so they are connected. Place them where you want, then fill the clear tubes with your choice of materials. Try colored aquarium gravel, regular pea gravel, white or red landscape rock, colored florist marbles, sand, etc. Or paint the outside of the tubes, fill with dirt (be sure to punch drainage hole before filling), and plant veggies, annuals, herbs, etc. You could attach both ends of the cord/wire/rope to the top or bottom of fences or decks and plant hanging plants like nasturtiums, creeping thyme, or other trailing annuals. Due to the weight, if attached to top of a structure, you'll need to secure the tube several places along the length. Have fun!

I use them for makeup pencils, dispose of my needles from insulin pens, and to capture stink bugs, holds tea bags for my lunch bag, left over M&M candy pieces, cut to start plant seedlings for garden, use to hold crochet needles, batteries to get rid of hard packing. Hope this helps you.

i use the container to put my I phone cords in to keep them contained and off the counter.

Surely you have already tried using them for a neat looking storage display. They are uniform, see-thru, dirt won't get into them, size is ideal for -soooo many objects. Wish I lived near you...I really could use them.

Do you have school age kids? Maybe their teachers would like them!

I use the containers to keep my reading glasses in when I'm at the beach. Great for keeping them out of the sand. They're also good for storing snacks to keep in your beach bag or cooler.

I use them to place my powdered MiracleGrow in to keep it dry. I prefer doing this to using the plastic bags that they come in when buying a fairly large box of it. It's easy to pop-off the lid and use the measuring spoon provided by MiracleGrow and has helped with spillage in the past.
