You could paint them up with pretty flowers, then use them for coasters.

You can paint the exterior of the lid, then add stuffing and glue a small lscrap of material over it and to the interior of the lid to create a pin cushion. Making several of these at once would be a fun project and many sewers would appreciate the gift!
You could paint them and then use them as covers for drinks outside to keep the bugs out. :)

I make Christmas ornaments from them. You can decoupage holiday napkins or old card pictures onto them.
Christmas showmen orniments ,magnets with pictures inside ,glue like 9 together and you have a trivet
Use them to cover table as if they were Tiles. Use Tile Adhesive and Grout them after.
