How can I upcycle old books?

I have a lot of old college textbooks, is it possible to make something out of these books for the house?

Used book store, second hand store, library, all would welcome them, I am sure. Are you wanting to keep them and upcycle or do you want to get rid of them?

Depending on what the particular books are, their age and condition, unfortunately many thrift stores and libraries no longer accept donations.

I use some of my old college text books as a flower press. Just put some newspaper in the pages with the flowers and stack a bunch more books on top. Let the flowers dry out for a few days.
