How can I upcycle milk crates?

Are they plastic or old metal ones??

Power wash them.....let dry.....then dry brush a fab cold with a sort of distressed finish. Looks great....you can display your magazines, wood, towels, or anything else

My name is Linda, I had a bunch of them too and took them outside, sprayed them with vinegar & water (50/50 mix), let them sit in the sun for a while, then wiped then down with soapy warm water. Finally I rinsed them off with a hose. They came out really good. :) Here's some ideas from other Hometalk members about what to do with them once they are clean. I hope this helps you. Clean them well with Pine Sol and Rinse.

Then use something on them like Flex Seal (any Color)

It is not Paint, but can apply like Paint or Spray on too.
