I had an above ground plastic koi pond about the same size as your shell. I removed the pond shell. When on sale, I bought 20 sacks of Lowe's Miracle Grow soil and after putting some large rocks in the bottom, filled it with dirt. Made a vegetable garden out of it. In your case, I would drill holes in the bottom for drainage. It made a great garden. Good luck!

Omg the possibilities are endless! You can partially bury it or keep it all above ground. Its gonna be big so you need some light cheap filler for the bottom. Use cut up pool noodles that will also help to keep your plants moist with out too much water. Make sure you put some drain holes in the bottom. Plant from the middle out with a nice center plant with some height. You can put trailing ivy or petunias around the sides or even some nice shrubs at ground level to hide the base. Depending on where you live a braided hibiscus would be pretty in the center. Clematis around a trellis for a centerpiece would be nice too. Cheap trellis idea is an inverted tomato cage

I agree about the fill below the soil. Empty plastic jugs would also work.
