For anything in particular, why not just get a stool? What height? Need a back? You'll need to take it all apart and add new legs.
You can put on legs that make the chair to the height of stool you want. Make sure you have adequate supports for the legs. Go to a home improvement store and see what they can suggest. You want to make sure the new legs can support any weight of the people that will be sitting on them. You can leave the ladder back on or take it off, myself, I would leave the back on. Have fun making your new stools, Patsybrose!
Hi Patsy, Just cut the back off, and sand the seat, then paint it. Aloha!
