You could make pillows out of them, placemats, a table-runner, or a quilt.

I have seen them sewn into curtains or valances for a window.
I love the quilt idea that someone suggest as well if you have a lot of them. If you are handy at sewing you could put them all together and make a patchwork quilt.
Our local mission would love to have something like this donated. They provide meals everyday to the homeless. Or perhaps a senior citizen organization like meals on wheels.
