How do make closed green pine cones open ?
The pine cones that were given to me where pulled off the tree and are green and closed. Can they be opened? If so how? I put them in the oven but they aren’t opening up.

Maybe they are a little to young to do this. At this point maybe the best solution would be to just recycle them as compost.
I would try soaking them in water then let them dry well. They should open after drying.
