Hello I just baked some acorns today to be sure that there were no pests brought indoors. Next I will seal them before crafting with them.
You could put them in a air tight container,or varnish them .
If you are going to use them for decor, a clear sealer will work. I try to keep RustOleum Never Wet on hand for my projects.
Spray with a sealer and let dry
Bake them in the oven at 175 for like 45 mintues to make sure all of the potential bugs inside are dead. I've kept acorns before that I didn't do that to and the grubs that came out were disgusting!!!!
