ice bite, dirt from a bag ,paint it for a flower pot, use it to store old receipts,
I use them in the garden for weeding, hauling water, mixing potting soil and compost, use one for disposing of kitty poop to the curb for the trash man, coiled 50' electrical cables, have one with a rope and hammer attached for gutter cleaning.
I would spray paint or cover with adhesive shelf paper and use them for storage, fill with ice for a cooler, make holes in the bottom and plant in them, trash cans, etc.
I put a foam top on the lid and covered them with a loose circle of heavy duty material. Then used the center for storage. They did double duty as seats around the campfire
I store wild bird, fertilizer, small garden tools,& actually anything small like car wash sponges brushes & soap & use the bucket for the wash water, you can store the kids Legos in them too.
I cut the top off of mine and painted it. Then decorated it very pretty flower pot.
