Great idea Bonnie, I save all glass containers so I definitely need to find more uses for them :)
Bonnie...Yes those are good ideas plus you can use for tacks, buttons, screws, nails, etc.
Those glass containers are great for using to take a small hostess gift to dinners you're invited to. You can take individually wrapped candies, etc., that you know your host/hostess like in them. Add a festive ribbon for added pizazz! You can even create hot chocolate mix and add a scoop, or other bakery ingredients and add a recipe. Just be sure you've thoroughly cleaned out the wax, metal, etc. from them. Have fun with it, more ideas may come to you as you get in the habit of doing this.
I use baby food containers for my workbench. I store various screw sizes.
