I have a wicker picnic hamper can anyone suggest what to do with it??

Line it with plastic and make it a planter for your garden.
Expanding on Janet's idea, here's a pic of one used as a planter. Me, I like using them as storage. I do needlework and always have a project going on so I store yarns and needles and projects-in-hand in a picnic basket tucked under a table next to a comfy chair.
I love that picture- its a great idea to paint it first to give it even more personality!
Remove the lid and use it as a storage basket. Keep it on a covered porch to hold citronella candles and other seasonal items.
