What can I use on an old iron bed frame
Besides painting, what could I use to keep it from rusting any more? Would mineral oil work?
You can make a cushion for the rough seat with a bit foam and a cute tablecloth from the dollar store . Get some wire baskets to go underneath and now you have added storage .
Use as a flower stand
Bonnie Botham - Pictures would help with better suggestions. Do you have a porch or large tree you can re-purpose it as a swing with modifications.
Use it to set up a nice welcoming vignette. Make a welcome sign that will stand against the bench (make it vertical). Add some pretty plants, maybe a pair of colorful garden boots, gloves, a
spade, other garden items, a nice throw if this area is covered. Good luck!
