I have an old chest of drawers that I've been hanging on to for years. I've had this piece for many years no drawers I'm moving and trying not to take unnecessary things had it so long I hate to part with it thinking of some sort of storage any suggestions

I did one and tiled the top. painted the rest and inserted baskets for storage. Can be used for many different purposes.

Lay it on its back to use it outside as a flower box/planter

Hi! Heres another idea remove the piece On the bottom that separates for the drawer and the second shelf on top ,add mirror ,use lighting and you’ll have a display case !

    Use for collectibles,pretties , etc...

or again remove same pieces ,make the case and use for small plants.

The wood is beautiful. I have one like it. It has a slight white wash. I would sand this down so you have clean wood, then give it a slight white wash. Then you can place bottoms in the base of it and use baskets for storage.

If you have the drawers keep the bottom two and use the upper ones as open shelving. You might even consider removing the top shelf. i would sand well and stain the outer cabinet and shelves the inside back wall could be in a white or off-white that matches the stain.

I used this resource to change a chest of drawers that I found at goodwill into a changing table. This was a great score for me!
