I have an old wicker headboard. What can I reuse this for in my apt.?

It's an old fairly plain wicker headboard. It is 50" high and 53" wide. It is in good condition. It is white, but I want to paint another color to compliment my studio apartment. What could I do to make it useful with it put up against a wall.???

I am thinking mounting on wall to hang pics on or hooks to hang something???

You can actually pad and cover it with fabric. You will need high loft quilt batting and enough fabric to cover and a glue gun. If you sew you can make a slipcover (like a pillow case) that will slip over the headboard.
