I try to recycle but cannot think of how to re-use bed pillows

I would like to donate to groups who can put old , probably stained but not stinky, bed pillows that have gone flat. Have you any ideas?

How about using them to fluff up sagging couches or sofas?
Wash them in the washing machine and dry well and use stuffing for cushions
Use clean stuffing for stuffing toys.
Assuming they are polyfill and not feather, wash in hot water and dry on low heat with a couple of tennis balls in the dryer. It will be obnoxiously loud, but should fluff them up nicely.
