Repurposing prescription bottles
They're the perfect size for a mini survival kit! Just pack in some band-aids, safety pins, superglue, hair bands, maybe some thread and needle as well. Have fun :)
Travel: jewelry, sewing kit, hard candy all fit in purse. For crafters: beads, buttons, sequins to store or take to craft session.
I use them to keep bobbypins, tiny hair elastics , paperclips etc. I also keep a taller one by the coffee maker to hold stirrers.
Use the Taller Bottles to Keep your Med list and Important EMERGENCY Info for EMT/ Firemen. Put a large Label on bottle "Emergency Info" and Keep it on door shelf in Fridge and put a Label on outside of Fridge Door in plain sight too.
Each person in Family should have a Bottle like this in the Fridge with their NAME on it- Keep similar bottle in your Purse,, I also use these med bottles for Crafting supplies, buttons, Beads, Safety Pins, Matches with a piece of emery board used for Striker. Storage for Small screws, nails, Tacks, nuts, Picture hangers etc.. Paper Clips, Pen Nibs ( for those of us who do Calligraphy with Pen and Ink) , Christmas Tree Ornament Hooks, replaceable spare Christmas tree light bulbs, Larger Garden Seeds, and coins... I took a look at the ideas on Pinterest- Wow love the covered ones, painted ones etc..
I use them to hold dried seeds until planting time. Of course it's very important to make sure the seeds are DRY! I save desiccant pouches and put one in each bottle if possible. The bottles are small enough to stash in the freezer until planting time too.
All good suggestions above. They are great for beads....I have lots of beads. I make up drink mixes with different combinations (instant coffee, sug, crm, chocolate, etc or tea and spices...etc) and the bottles hold enough to make a small gift or travel and all you need is hot water. I've used them to make up bath crystal ingredients and again they can be a small gift or a travel companion.
My dog thinks they are a toy but I try to keep him away as he can chew them open easily.
I take the labels off and give them to the local animal shelter. They often send home meds with newly adopted or foster animals.
Fill with salt, pepper and spices for camp outs.
