Pamela Foster on Mar 25, 2014Possibly add different, taller legs along with shelves to the back to make an upcycled desk. Any pics? They always help~Helpful Reply

Diamond Chamberlin on Mar 25, 2014It's at my house and I'm not there right now , but when I head back over there I will definitely get pictures to add to this. I just could no resist picking them up along side the road.Helpful Reply

Marge on Mar 25, 2014Could use to hold a potted plant without any legs. Remove the 3 remaining ones. Paint the back after it is sanded and painted. The plant could go where the seat was. Or look at Home Depot and try to match missing leg. Then prep as you do the other part of the chair.Helpful Reply

KathrynElizabeth Etier on Mar 26, 2014I like funky, and my solutions reflect that. Instead of trying to find a matching leg, how about finding a couple of legs that don't match, and put them together either on the front or back, opposite the original legs. Then paint.Helpful Reply

Jeanette S on Mar 27, 2014Take off the legs and fix up the chair...refinish or paint. Then make a box for it to be attached to. Put in a door and let it become a special hiding space for a kid's room. They love secret places to put their special "stuff".Helpful Reply

Diamond Chamberlin on Apr 02, 2014While disassembling this chair and another I picked up with three legs ( I seem to be a magnet for chairs with missing legs LOL ); I came up with a couple more ideas. Well maybe not completely my own , but these old chairs will serve two purposes. The backs are beautiful and after a good washing, sanding and painting I will be using them in my garden or as a backdrop for my Floribunda rose bushes I got last year for $5 each. The seats will be recovered and made into beds for my two cats and I'll still have extra legs for other projects down the road. I'll be finishing these projects up in the next few days and will post pictures of final product. Thanks for all the ideas y'all.Helpful Reply
