Looking for ideas to create a project. They were given to me from a library and I have two of them. They were used to display items using plastic shelves that'd you insert into the slots. Thanks.

I think they would make attractive headboards. One each for 2 twin beds or butt together for a larger bed. Trim out the edges for a finished look.

That's a good idea and definitely taking it on board. Thank you

Headboard is a great idea. You could add reading lamps, a top moulding, a shelf, hooks to hang things, etc.

Could use on a kitchen wall, childrens room, garage, laundry room, too. This is slat wall. They make hangers to hang shelves, hooks, etc.

Thank you for letting me know what the name of it is. So I guess it's a trip to an arts and craft store then.

Without knowing your kitchen style, I was thinking you could suspend one of them from the ceiling with awesome chains and hooks to hang pots and pans or make it into a suspended wine rack and decorate with faux grapes and vines. Or, since you're from Maryland, you may want a nauical theme and decorate with rope, a crab or two hanging onto a bottle of wine!! Have fun with it, whatever you decide to do.

I'd see if you could get those display shelves and you can organize anything from magazines to files to jewelry to cans in them

Yes, I do have some of the shelves so it appears there are endless possibilities here. Thank you

Slat Wall board is perfect for use as intended when "invented".You can use it in garage ,kitchen or anywhere you need extra storage for almost anything. There is a variety of containers-wire baskets you can purchase and use for almost anything. You could paint it to blend in or pop which ever suits your purpose.Usually a very expensive item but accessories are inexpensive.I used it in a pet shop for display of chewies, leashes etc. Have fun.

Add hinges, attach to 2 small shelving units for display cupboards..store the "tools of the trade" outside, and supplies/books/more tools etc. inside.
