You will also need a nearby source of electricity to run the fountain pump. Using extension chords running along the ground is not advised.
What a really cute idea. here's a page I found explaining this https://www.hometalk.com/diy/outdoor/garden/tea-pot-fountain-instructions-600572?expand_all_questions=1

Any exterior outlet must be a GFCI in an exterior-grade (weatherproof) electrical box.
If you’ve an existing old exterior outlet that has seen better days, you can install a new compliant one, if you’ve a friend with electrical experience.
If “no” on both of these, you’ll need to hire an electrician to do this, because you’ll be cutting a hole in your exterior wall (insulation issues too) and connecting to an existing circuit, that hopefully is not overloaded.
Get your self a fountain and hook up the kit into the teapot make a whole at the bottom and feed the hose throu and into the spout let it pour out into the barrel hide all the motor and stuff with greenery and plants
Hi Ruby, here is the original post for this, hope it helps you out
