My advice would be to construct the tree stand and then ask a qualified electrician to wire it up for you. Best to be safe than sorry!
Hi Jeanie, Can you create some sort of pond out of it? You could paint the inside and then add water plants and fish. You would also add large rocks and stones around it to add a more organic feel. A waterfall going into it would also look beautiful.
