Betty....Clean well and paint is what I did but may daughter turned hers into a bin for dog food and it worked great. Good luck

Hi Betty, how about using as a storage bin? Or even a side table if you put a piece of plywood on it for the top.

How about a porch planter with ivy spilling out of it. Use for garden tools and gloves in the garage. Store towels rolled up with for your bath room if it is big enough.
