How else can I use a table lamp?

I asked before, if someone could give me an idea on how to use this table lamp but not as a lamp. I lost many parts and can’t be fixed. I still keep them (I have 2) because of sentimental reasons . Any ideas? Thanks Sam🌺

    Could it be a vase?

If you lost only the electrical parts those can be replaced. If the new ones don't match the other lamp, replace parts in both and then you can use your lamps and treasure them because of the sentimental value. It is too pretty to hide away or alter drastically.

  • You have two options. Dismantle the remaining lamp parts and plug the hole from the cord and use as a vase. Or head over to any craft and hobby or home improvement center and rebuild the lamps by purchasing any missing pieces. They are very pretty. I could go either way with them.

You could take out the lamp innards and the hardware and use one on each side of your fireplace to hold tall dried grasses. My mom used urn type ones to hold them and it looked really nice.

I really appreciate so much your quick answers. I’ll try first to fix them if not I’ll use them as a vase. Again, thank you so much

You can remove all the electric "work" by unscrewing everything at the top and cutting/pulling the cord. You could then use it as a vase.

Additional thought. Long term you really like these vases lamps. They could be cremation urns. Glue a felt and plate or similar piece to seal base. Top can probably be sealed with cork and glue. Paint with similar color to match vase...enamel or even nail polish. For chips also.

FYI. Just read up on if break something like this if tape it back together and soak in warm milk. The pieces

re adhere. Fixing to try and mend something.

I use lamp bases in my outdoor areas with solar powered lights on top.
